June 29, 2016 (Press Release) – A Red Stag Casino player said he’d rather spend the weekend with his family than take the trip to Reno that he won in a raffle at the hip new casino.

Over the Father’s Day weekend earlier this month, Red Stag, ran a contest awarding a $1500 holiday in Reno, Nevada. Players earned raffle tickets just by playing any of the casino’s more than 150 games from Wager Gaming (WGS). The prize package included luxury hotel accommodation and a show on the Strip. Ultimate dad that the Fathers Day winner is, though, he opted to forego the trip and take the cash instead.

“I’m sure a getaway to Reno would have been fun,” said Bobby T. from Mississippi, an offshore marine captain. “But I’m away from home a lot due to my job. So I’d rather spend the money doing something with the whole family.”
